NEW FOR THE SPRING - KOFF EXTRA BREW
The KOFF product family will expand in March with the addition of the aromatic KOFF Extra Brew lagers - beers for bon vivants. At the same time KOFF will unveil its new image.
KOFF Extra Brew supplements a distinguished product family consisting of the internationally awarded lagers KOFF III and KOFF IV, as well as the lighter KOFF Lite launched two years ago.
KOFF Extra Brew, for the moments when flavour is the most important thing
A fuller than usual malt base combined with generous hopping gives KOFF Extra Brew a strong flavour and character. The Saaz hops in KOFF have also been used as aromatic hops; the strong hoppiness is already emphasised in the scent. The hops' bitterness is however balanced by the fuller malt base.
KOFF Extra Brew is well suited for social gatherings and beer evenings, or as a beverage with good food. It goes particularly well with seafood dishes, fried foods, sausages, salty pies and grilled dishes. The beer is at its best at 5-8° C.
KOFF Extra Brew will be sold in 4.5% and 5.2% vol. strengths. Traditional KOFF will continue alongside Extra Brew in both strength categories.
KOFF's new look
For Finnish consumers, KOFF is synonymous with Beer Tradition and Know-how. Almost 200 years of brewery history can be tasted in KOFF beers. Today, the pioneer in beer marketing represents a youthful, active and urban lifestyle in which the best experiences are relived in the company of good friends.
KOFF's fresh new look will be seen in mid-March; all beer packaging has been redesigned to enhance their visual clarity, signifying on one hand KOFF's long traditions, and on the other hand its youthful and fresh attitude.
KOFF Lite - less calories as a bonus
In terms of its alcohol content and flavour, the light beer KOFF Lite launched in the market by Sinebrychoff two years ago is a genuine medium-strength beer. Thanks to its longer fermentation process, it contains 30% less energy than comparable normal beers. KOFF Lite's visibility at the Finnish Ice Hockey Championships in connection with matches played by Sinebrychoff-sponsored teams gave wings to the product's sales last autumn, registering a growth exceeding 40% compared to the equivalent period for the previous year.
